At Thrive Agri Services we are passionate about the red meat and wool industries of Australia.

We provide independent production, business and research and development services to the Australian sheep and beef supply chains.

We operate throughout Western Victoria and specialise in sheep and beef nutrition, genetics, management and the post-gate value chain.

Our goal is to provide services and advice with the highest level of objectivity and integrity to enable your animals, farm systems and people to THRIVE.

Who we are


Dr Andrew Kennedy

Andrew is a farm systems specialist who has a background in research, development and adoption.

Andrew’s experience ranges across pasture agronomy, animal nutrition, animal genetics, farm management and farm economics.

Andrew loves the challenge of problem solving the interplay between components of the farm system to drive efficiency and production.

Andrew completed a PhD at the University of Western Australia and has an undergraduate degree in agriculture from the University of Melbourne.


Dr Kirsty Kennedy

Kirsty is an Agricultural Scientist with a passion for the red meat industries. Holding a PhD in the areas of meat science and animal physiology, Kirsty is passionate about the maximising production and processing efficiencies across the supply chain.

Kirsty completed a PhD at the University of New England and has an undergraduate Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree from the University of Melbourne.

Kirsty’s passion for increasing efficiency across the supply chain comes from a desire to enhance the profitability and sustainability of all industry sectors.


Priscilla Cuming

Priscilla grew up in Hobart, Tasmania but has lived in Victoria for over half of her life and in the Western District for 20 years.

She has been working in the agricultural space for over 20 with experience in public relations, marketing, training and administration.

In her spare time she is involved along with her husband Mac with the day to day running of their fine wool and prime lamb farm near Penshurst, chasing round after their teenage children and finding time to ride her beloved horse.


MIKAYLA RICE

Mikayla's journey in the agricultural industry, rooted in her upbringing on a beef and sheep farm in South West Victoria, showcases a passion for the field. Having completed her Certificate II and Certificate III in Agriculture, she demonstrates a commitment to expanding her knowledge in this domain.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Mikayla's engagement in extracurricular activities like netball and spending time with family and friends provides a well-rounded perspective.

As Mikayla continues to explore and advance in the agricultural field, her background, education, and diverse interests are likely to shape a promising and impactful career in southern Australia's agricultural landscape.


Tracy foley

Tracy, grew up in the Norther Suburbs of Melbourne before moving to Hamilton, that she has proudly called home for over 2 decades with her husband and two children.

Tracy’s professional journey spans over a decade in the Tax service industry, bringing a wealth of knowledge to our team. Within the walls of Thrive Agri Services, Tracy ensures the seamless functioning of our operations. Tracy is here to assist clients with their bookkeeping and financial needs.

In Tracy’s spare time you’ll see her chasing around her two children with their sports or walking her golden retriever Ava and enjoying the new addition puppy, Betty. Tracy is also heavily involved with many sporting organisations such as being the treasurer for Glenthompson-Dunkeld Football Netball Club.
